Cream gains its first contract with Derbyshire County Council: 

  • After a long tendering process, Cream Catering has secured a contract to cater at one of Derbyshire County Councils prestigious newly built care homes, beating other tenders from national companies.  The new site comprises of residential and day care facilities and also boasts an internet cafe.  The company is very excited by this new venture and will be looking to expand in this area in the future.  This appointment once again shows that Cream Catering being a regional company with its managing director, Mel Beniston, always available to the management of this site.  This ensures that should there be any problems they are dealt with immediately.

 

Cream's managing director meets the clients:

  • A "meet the caterer's" meeting last month proved an outstanding success.  The residents of De Lacey Gardens in Pontefract stated that they were pleased with Hanover Housing Association's decision to extend the contract for another year.  The residents raised one or two questions of which one was of a raising the choice of desserts that were on offer, another was to have more mashed potatoes.  These items have now been introduced.

 

Parliament hears of Cream Catering Ltd:

  • Hemsworth MP Jon Trickett has commended the work of social enterprises up and down the country for the positive impact they have on communities and gave a special thanks to Cream Catering based in Hemsworth  This award winning enterprise, which runs out of  The Cedars Business Centre, on Barnsley road, employs people who have been out of work for a number of years and provides high quality catering services for sheltered housing across Yorkshire and Derbyshire".
